Dietitians are the only healthcare professionals licensed to assess, diagnose, and treat nutrition problems. They are experts in designing nutrition programs to facilitate weight loss, protect health, prevent allergic reactions, and alleviate the symptoms of many types of disease.

Memberships
Memberships allow clients to pay an upfront monthly fee to secure a significantly reduced rate for all individual wellness services throughout the month. Clients can elect to mix and match their sessions by selecting from a variety of offerings at the center.
Specialized Workshops
Our specialized workshops are comprised of several pre-selected services intended to provide clients with a comprehensive treatment approach to tackling specific health-related issues. The programs last one month and consist of individual services as well as classes and groups.

Weight Loss: Maintaining a healthy weight is an essential part of living well. This program addresses a client’s nutrition and fitness needs with the goal of making permanent behavioral and lifestyle changes.

 

Gastrointestinal: The discomfort of a gastrointestinal issue can cause a person to feel uneasy discussing it with others and to avoid seeking treatment. This program encourages clients to eat a proper diet, practice relaxation, and utilize positive thinking to reduce gastrointestinal distress, anxiety, and negative thoughts.

 

Infertility: Dealing with infertility is a difficult journey for both men and women. This program may be ideal for those who want an alternative or a supplement to traditional reproductive procedures.

 

Postnatal: Recovering from a pregnancy can be a long and arduous process. This program may help women recover quicker by motivating them to look and feel their best again.

 

Smoking Cessation: Smoking is a very difficult habit to quit. This program strives to reduce a client’s urge to smoke and increase their willingness to quit through a multi-pronged approach that attempts to address the core reasons they smoke in the first place.

WHAT IS A DIETITIAN?

A registered dietitian is a food and nutrition expert who has met academic and professional requirements and is credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

 

WHY SHOULD I CONSULT A DIETITIAN? 

Everyone can benefit from meeting with a dietitian. Dietitians help clients with weight loss or weight gain, prevention and management of chronic diseases, food allergies and intolerances, digestive issues, sports-related nutrition, infant feeding guidelines, feeding a family, meal planning, budgeting for groceries, recipe development, and general healthy eating advice. By meeting with a dietitian, clients can be assured that the information they receive is customized to fit their needs and based on scientific evidence. 

 

WILL INSURANCE COVER NUTRITION SERVICES?

Some insurance companies cover nutrition consultations. A doctor's referral may be required to use insurance or receive reimbursement for the cost of services. Call the center to ask about your specific insurance plan’s coverage.
