ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncturists insert tiny, thin needles into the skin or tissues. Great care is taken to help clients feel comfortable while the needles are in place. The more relaxed clients are during treatment, the better the results.

DOES IT HURT?
Acupuncture rarely is described as painful and can be adjusted if the client feels discomfort. The needles are used once and not designed to cut the skin. Instead, when an acupuncture needle is inserted, the round edge pushes the tissue aside without cutting it.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE A TREATMENT?
Clients typically are seen once a week and may experience immediate relief from acupuncture, but it can take as many as four to six treatments. Acute conditions often resolve much quicker than chronic conditions. The benefits of acupuncture tend to last longer when clients receive more treatments. Follow-up treatments are scheduled for routine maintenance or when new symptoms arise.
WILL INSURANCE COVER ACUPUNCTURE?
